I’m a UX/UI Designer based in the Bay Area, CA. During my time at UC Santa Cruz, I studied Psychology and Legal Studies and took on a writing tutoring role, a research assistant job, a field study internship under a high school psychologist, and a CUIP internship at UCSC’s CARE Office. During my senior year, I decided to pursue a career in UX. After graduating summa cum laude, I became a DesignLab student and learned how to use my strong problem solving, research, and creative skills to create thoughtful designs that are both pleasing to look at and use. I'm now doing freelance work for various startups.

Things I Enjoy

Drawing/Painting

I’ve loved drawing, painting, and designing since I was young, and that passion was a big part of the reason why doing some kind of design work was appealing to me 🖊

Nail Art

Having my nails done prettily sparks joy for me; I love coming up with different designs, getting creative with what I can do, and showing them to my friends and family 💅

Video Games

I played a lot of Nintendo growing up, so I’m super excited about the next Breath of the Wild, but I’ve been enjoying Halo Infinite while I patiently wait 🎮

Teaching Band

After marching DCI, I’ve taught in the visual caption at multiple high schools in the south Bay Area including Lynbrook High School, Live Oak High School, and Mountain View High School 🎺

How I Take Care of Myself

Journaling

Lately I’ve been journaling a brief reflection at the end of the day and note my daily accomplishments; I love stationery, and I’m also very dedicated to my planner 💛

Quality Time

Whether it’s just chilling together, trying new restaurants and cafes, or doing activities, spending quality time with friends and family helps me unwind and feel joy 😊

Exercising

I played quite a few sports growing up, but nowadays lifting weights, running, and hiking are my favorite ways to stay fit and get away from the screen 👟

Binge Watching

There’s really nothing like sitting down at the end of a long day with some delicious snacks and binging a great show - I always enjoy a good K-Drama 📹
